Digital Marketing Specialist

A Digital Marketing Specialist at Arcane is primarily responsible for supporting the execution of a broad range of digital marketing campaigns. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work directly in collaboration with the Digital Media team, Account Management team, and Directors to support client needs. They will be responsible for the development of digital media campaigns cross-functionally — paid search, display advertising, paid social, SEO, email, and more. The ideal candidate upholds Arcane’s values, is forward-thinking, strategically minded, and works with the client’s best interests in mind. Most of all, they live and breathe digital media!

Responsibilities:

  • Execute paid search, paid social, display, email, and SEO strategies through managing campaigns, analyzing data, and assisting in preparation of reports — all while optimizing throughout
  • Work through Project Management to support Account Management with client requests and inquiries
  • Collaborate with the Digital Media team to ensure the most effective strategy
  • Assist the Senior Manager, Digital Media in defining strategy, using various digital media tactics to drive and increase ROI for clients
  • Meet with clients (as requested by the Account Manager) to offer insight on areas of opportunity within their campaign, clearly outlining the efficacy of current digital media efforts
  • Accountable for staying up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends
  • Continuously broaden knowledge of digital marketing and maintain Google Partners certification
  • Support Paid Search Lead, Display Lead, Paid Social Lead, and SEO Specialist in their campaigns
  • Conduct and report on research surrounding target audience identification, competitive analysis, qualitative web site profiling, search engine keyword analysis, and secondary research aggregation
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications / Skills:

  • 2+ of experience in a similar role or digital media capacity
  • College or University-level education, or equivalent experience
  • A strong understanding of paid search, paid social, SEO, email, and display advertising, both application and theory
  • Google AdWords Certified — knowledge of Google Analytics and best practices for digital marketing campaigns
  • Additional Google Certifications are ideal
  • Curiosity and passion for digital marketing
  • Experience working on cross-functional digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong team-player — able to work with diverse groups and skillsets
  • Exceptional reporting skills and understanding of how to track and measure KPIs
  • Able to identify opportunities within ongoing strategies for areas of optimization

Paid Search Specialist

A Paid Search Specialist at Arcane is primarily responsible for supporting the execution of paid search campaigns and supporting digital marketing projects. The Paid Search Specialist will work directly in collaboration with Digital Media team and the Account Management team to support client needs. They will be responsible for the development of paid search campaigns, working with other members of the search team. The ideal candidate upholds Arcane’s values, is forward-thinking, strategically minded and works with the client’s best interests in mind. Most of all, they live and breathe digital media!

Responsibilities:

Senior Account Manager

A Senior Account Manager at Arcane is primarily responsible for participating in marketing and business problem solving, creative development, and most importantly, the delivery of industry-leading marketing experiences in partnership with some amazing brands. Working directly with assigned clients and collaborating directly with the account, creative, development, digital media, and content teams, this role will be instrumental in initiating, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with clients. You will collaborate with our internal teams and external partners, working to successfully meet or exceed client's’ objectives.

Responsibilities:  

  • Manages profitability of your portfolio, budgets, project scope, ensures profitable delivery of services and client satisfaction

  • Owns and/or partners on select accounts and projects, acts as the primary contact between the client and the agency

  • Demonstrated passion for technology and marketing and their use in driving revenue, client satisfaction, and efficiency

  • Flexibility to accommodate change and thrive amid ambiguity

  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)

Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate with account managers to understand, estimate, prioritize, and implement requests for change

  • Create back-end solutions in team operating with a variety of tech-stacks (.NET, C#/Java, MSSQL or PHP, Laravel, MySQL)

  • Develop/integrate RESTful API projects within Web Applications

  • Act as an experienced, passionate Web Developer, upholding our mission, vision and values through interactions with clients and peers

  • Participate in team solutions planning, design reviews and client requirements sessions

  • Assist in the creation of accurate costing estimates and delivery timelines

  • Work with junior/co-op developers to maximize both their project contributions and education opportunity

Qualifications:

  • Proven web development experience in an agency or corporate environment

  • Proven, thorough knowledge of .NET, C#/Java, MSSQL or PHP, Laravel, MySQL

  • Strong HTML, CSS, & JavaScript (core, libraries, and/or frameworks) fundamentals are a must

  • Understanding and experience with third party service integrations via RESTful APIs or web services

  • Ability and enthusiasm to adapt and expand technology skills to changing industry demands

  • Advanced understanding of web authoring and publishing tools

  • Good understanding of common design software/tools including Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, and InVision

  • Experience using version control (Git) in a team setting

Manager, Strategic Partnerships

The Manager, Strategic Partnerships will support new business development efforts in the Greater Ontario market, with a primary focus on Southwestern Ontario. This role will work out of our London, Ontario office focusing on generating new business opportunities, servicing existing or incoming opportunities, and finding efficiencies in their role.

Responsibilities:

Opportunity Coordination

  • Helps to manage profitability of portfolio, budgets, project scope, and initial client satisfaction

  • Understands our clients’ key contacts, organization structures, processes, and business plans

  • Anticipates our team’s needs, identifies solutions, acts in our best interest to increase the value of service

  • Tracks and manages communication in CRM, uses tracking systems to interact with other team members

Qualifications

  • Previous agency experience is an asset
